Die Cut End Caps can be made from any of the 3 foam materials - Polyurethane, Polyethylene (PE) and Expanded Polystyrene (EPS). We can help you determine your company’s need based on your product and packaging design. Polyurethane end caps, preferred for its shock absorbing property, are available in color coded densities. Cut from large blocks, it is typically used to protect fragile or irregularly shaped light items such as electronics or items requiring special die-cut design.

Polyethylene end caps - also known for its shock absorbing property, offer protection to many popular types of items requiring cushion packaging. We can custom design and cut form-fitting foam pieces for protecting your product. Due to its broad range of properties, including densities ranging from 1.2 - 9 pounds per cubic foot, it has a wide variety of box lining applications, including industrial, OEM, construction or automotive products. It comes in a variety of colors and is also recyclable!

Expanded Polystyrene end caps provides good insulation and can be molded or cut into shapes, as you specify. With wire cut pieces, this proves the most economical end cap option and incurs no upfront tooling fees. It is commonly used in packaging items such as coolers, wine shippers, sensitive electronic components, consumer goods, office equipment and bio-technical products.
