Insulated Pallet Covers
Our metalized pallet covers are made from 1.0 mil LDPE and are oversized to protect more of your fresh produce. These covers are designed to extend the lifetime of perishable items like fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, dairy products and pharmaceuticals. Fruits like bananas pose a very unique and difficult obstacle when shipping together with other items at other temperatures. Bananas can quickly turn brown if there temperature decreases from 70 degrees (room temperature), to 56 degrees. Below 57 degrees is when bananas start to turn brown and can stunt the ripening process. Our thermal metalized blankets extend the lifetime of these bananas when in transit by slowing the acclamation temperature time. These insulating pallet covers work in two different ways. They reflect cold temperature away (foil out) when you want to keep the contents at room temperature with colder products in the same container.They also keep contents colder longer (foil in) when being shipped with other items at room temperature.
